As a freelancer, the type of projects I’ve worked on varies greatly. My goal is to make my clients look good and be worry-free. The last several years, my projects have primarily consisted of image enhancements, logo branding, copy editing/proofing, newsletters, and advertising.

Design Studio Manager | September 1997 – April 2009
LaBov & Beyond, Inc. | Fort Wayne, Indiana

Throughout my career at LaBov, I’ve held multiple positions. The most recent position was the Design Studio Manager. Responsibilities included graphic design and art direction, determining labor costs (as well as developing an online reference tool located on their intranet for ballpark pricing) and contacting suppliers for outside costs and project status, create or advise the traffic manager on production schedules, system set-up and updates, personnel training, and much more. I have also worked on several award-winning projects.

I excel at keeping track of the details, organization, and being proactive on all projects. Large-scale events, product brochures, magazines, and image enhancements are my forte. I also managed client brand standards and kept the team up-to-date on modifications as well as reviewing materials and providing direction to ensure proper client marketing and branding.

My thoughts were often requested by the COO and the Controller regarding workflow, project bids, etc. I was involved in the selection and set-up of the operational system (project scheduling/workflow, budget, etc.) and IT outsourcing selection.
